Program Description


KEYS Program creators, Dr. Debbie De Vries & Mr. Armando Vazquez, M.A.

will provide questions and answers about the class sessions at the orientation



Orientation/Enrollment: February 1, Wednesday 4:30-6PM at the Café.

(Please bring: Social Security Card, Picture ID, and Birth certificate.)

 

What can I expect?

To be treated with respect and dignity, and participate in a community leadership program. The program will provide each participant with enrollment at Oxnard College, career guidance, employment development and jobs, a stipend of up to $50 per week, business mini-courses, art projects, and opportunity to become involved in a community improvement project. All of this while addressing individual issues such as court involvement, academic preparation and support, mentoring and counseling services and a chance to talk to leaders of the community.
